Welcome AVID Freshman and Sophomores!
This blog is your resource for all AVID assignments, projects and due dates. This is the first year that a blog will be available for you in AVID and I expect you to check in daily to check on your work.
You will find resources, website links, information, and updates that will make your life so much easier. You will be able to stay on top of all of your AVID work at all times.
This is a great resource if you are absent. You should always check the blog to see if there is work you missed. There is never an excuse for not being aware of your assignments.
The first two weeks will allow us to get to know one another and to build our awesome community. Sophomores - I expect you to make the class welcoming to our new AVID students. Please impart your wisdom and be solid mentors for success - both academically and socially.
Remember - it is a privilege to be in AVID. You were selected because you show promise and potential. You represent the AVID program in all of your other classes all the time.
